Log into your account, navigate to the Wallet section, select the cryptocurrency you wish to deposit, and copy your unique deposit address. Send funds from your external wallet to this address. Deposits are typically credited within 1–30 minutes depending on blockchain confirmation times.
Withdrawal fees vary by cryptocurrency and network. The fee schedule is shown at the time of withdrawal. We recommend checking current network congestion before initiating large withdrawals.
Withdrawals are typically processed within 30 minutes. During peak periods or for large amounts, additional security reviews may extend processing time to up to 24 hours.
The minimum deposit varies by cryptocurrency. For BTC the minimum is 0.0001 BTC, for ETH it is 0.001 ETH, and for USDT (TRC20) it is 1 USDT. Deposits below the minimum will not be credited.
Futures Trading
A perpetual futures (perp) contract is a derivative product that allows you to trade the price movement of an asset without owning it. Unlike traditional futures, perpetual contracts have no expiry date. They use a funding rate mechanism to keep prices close to the spot market.
Leverage amplifies both your potential profits and losses. For example, with 10x leverage, you control a $10,000 position with only $1,000 of margin. If the price moves 5% in your favor, you gain 50% on your margin. However, if it moves against you, you can lose your margin quickly. Use leverage carefully.
Liquidation occurs when your position's losses consume all of your margin. The liquidation price is the price at which this happens. Using lower leverage and higher margin reduces your liquidation risk. You can monitor your liquidation price in the position panel.
The funding rate is a periodic payment (every 8 hours) between long and short holders. When the rate is positive, longs pay shorts. When negative, shorts pay longs. It keeps perpetual contract prices anchored to spot prices.
Isolated margin: Only the assigned margin for that specific position is at risk. If liquidated, only that margin is lost. Cross margin: Your entire account balance is used as margin. This lowers your liquidation price but puts your full balance at risk if the position is liquidated.
Spot Trading
Spot trading is the direct purchase or sale of a cryptocurrency at the current market price. Unlike futures, you actually own the asset after buying it. Spot trading has no leverage and no liquidation risk.
BybitFX charges a flat 0.10% fee for both market and limit spot orders. VIP users receive discounts based on their trading volume tier.
Your spot holdings are credited to your Spot Wallet and can be viewed on the Spot trading page. Holdings are secured with industry-standard cold storage practices.
